By tracking your movements through your phone’s accelerometer or a connected Android Wear smartwatch, Google Fit spits out various charts and data sets to detail whether you're staying active.
The app update also adds an experimental feature that continues tracking your steps even if your smartwatch disconnects from its paired phone. Currently, if you walk too far away from your phone, or the phone's battery dies, the smartwatch loses the ability to count up your steps.

    Bye Bye Orkut
It has been 10 years since Google ventured into the area of social networking with its first social network Orkut. This infographic from one productions profiles the rise and fall of Orkut, now destined for the infamous "Google Graveyard" and takes us through its journey from conception to evolution and its final demise. In the end Google wanted to focus on You Tube, Blogger and Google+ which simply had much faster growth than Orkut.

    Robotics and Artificial Intelligence
